03.01.10 - ChromeCuts and the return of ChromeShark.com
Today I launched my second Chrome Extension to the Google Gallery -
ChromeCuts! It's a simple note saving extension that I created because I needed it myself and was surprised that nobody had made it yet. As with all Chrome Apps, you need
Google Chrome 4 Beta to use them.
Today I also relaunched
ChromeShark.com as a home page for my Chrome Apps, currently just ChromeCuts and
ChromePlay. I'll mainly be using it for change logs, so I kept it purposely very simple, in fact the whole site is just one page that changes with JavaScript. You may recognize the logo!
31.12.09 - New Logo for 2010
I've finished up the redesign of MarkPLunney.com (that's the site you're on now!) with a shiny new logo. The old Shark logo hasn't found its way to the recycle bin yet - I'll be using it on a new site very soon.
This will be my last news post of the decade! Lots to come in 2010, I have a new game, new website and a new Chrome extension all due to launch in January alone. Happy new year!
29.12.09 - Glue Projects
Few design changes around the site, mainly some menu rearrangements to allow for new sections. The first of these to get some content is
Glue in Flash Development, which currently just has the Tweet a Wish project I worked on, but surely more to come!
Also check out the updated
About Me page! Lots of major updates to come over the New Year period.
16.12.09 - Tweet A Wish
This week the first project I worked on for
glue London went live, a Christmas themed Twitter-powered website for the
Make-A-Wish foundation. Explore the website at
www.tweetawish.co.uk.
Users can use the #tweetawish hashtag in their Twitter messages to send wishes into the scene to create a star, and we'll donate to Make-A-Wish every time they do. Best of all is that wishes will also appear every few minutes at Liverpool Street Station, see some pictures on the
Facebook event.
08.12.09 - ChromePlay Redesign and Google Chrome Extension
Today saw the launch of
Google Chrome Extensions, which currently only available for the PC version of
Chrome Beta. Amongst the extensions is one of my own - the
ChromePlay Chrome Extension (catchy title?). This lets you see the latest four
ChromePlay.com games right from your browser, updated live. More features to come!
Also in
ChromePlay.com news, this week I launched a site redesign. Originally intended as a minor update, it ended up as a fairly major overhaul, with a much brighter and less cluttered look. I think it's quite a big improvement, but feedback and suggestions will be welcomed, and that goes for the Chrome extension too.
